- Used Dispersing agent for inorganic pigments and fillers in:
- Water-based paints and coatings (acrylic, styrene-acrylic, PVAc, SBR, etc.)
- Industrial and wood coatings
- Pigmented pastes and polymer emulsions
- Adhesives and textile formulations
Description:
SILDIS 410 is a high-efficiency, low-foam dispersant based on an organic polycarboxylate system, specifically designed to enhance the dispersion of inorganic pigments and mineral fillers in aqueous formulations. It stabilizes pigment particles through electrostatic repulsion, preventing agglomeration and ensuring long-term stability of the mixture’s rheology and viscosity.
Compatible with a wide variety of binders and resins, SILDIS 410 is particularly effective with pigments such as titanium dioxide (TiO₂), iron oxides, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, silica, and kaolin.
Key Features:
- Excellent pigment dispersion and stabilization
- Effective across a wide pH range (5–12)
- High thermal resistance (>100 °C)
- Outperforms inorganic dispersants like polyphosphates
- Minimizes viscosity drift and prevents sedimentation
Recommended Dosage: 0.2–1.5% based on the weight of total pigments. Optimal dosage should be determined via pre-testing for best performance.
