Strontium Octoate is a clean liquid without suspended matter, that is replacement of lead octoate in the paint and ink industries. It is non-toxic and yields in combination with cobalt and calcium excellent film through-drying. In comparison to linoleate, phthalates and naphthenates, it provides better color, odor, stability and viscosity. In this specific case it is necessary to take into account the fact that it is already out of date, which can have an influence on the product's characteristics and consequently on its final application.
