Description:

SIODEN OA 552BT is a high-purity, low-viscosity specialty base oil developed for demanding industrial applications where cleanliness, stability, and performance are essential. It is a clear, odorless hydrocarbon oil with very low aromatic content, offering excellent ageing resistance, controlled volatility, and consistent rheological behavior.

Thanks to its high flash point, excellent spreading properties, and chemical inertness, SIODEN OA 552BT is particularly suitable for the formulation of premium lubricants and metal working fluids, ensuring clean operation, operator comfort, and long service life. The product also performs effectively as a concrete release agent, providing uniform demoulding and high-quality surface finishes without negatively affecting concrete properties.

The base oil is denatured in accordance with fiscal regulations and is not classified as a VOC. It is readily biodegradable according to OECD guidelines and meets stringent purity expectations for industrial environments requiring regulatory compliance.

Note

This product originates from TotalEnergies’ Oudalle refinery. Upon receipt, elevated foaming was observed due to likely transport contamination. The issue was successfully corrected using an antifoam treatment.

The final product fully meets performance and application requirements. Residual antifoam content is extremely low (below 5 ppm) and has no impact on quality, stability, or intended industrial use.

This batch is offered via Chemsmog because it does not meet the particularly strict internal specifications of the original end customer, not due to any functional limitation. The material is sold with full transparency.
