Description:

RO MEMBRANE AG4040FM LF is a low fouling brackish water reverse osmosis element manufactured by SUEZ. It is designed for high rejection and high flow performance in brackish water applications with TDS levels between 1,000 and 10,000 mg/L.

The membrane features thin-film composite (TFM) technology, delivering high sodium chloride rejection (99.5% average) and reliable performance at operating pressures as low as 200 psi. It is particularly suitable when very high rejection of monovalent ions is required.

The AG4040FM LF model has an active membrane area of 85 ft² (7.9 m²) and an average permeate flow of 2,300 gpd under standard test conditions (2,000 ppm NaCl solution at 225 psi, 77°F, pH 7, 15% recovery). The element is constructed with a fiberglass outer wrap and is designed for use in standard 4040 pressure vessels.

The membrane operates within a continuous pH range of 4.0–11.0 (optimum rejection at pH 7.0–7.5) and supports Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures within a pH range of 1.0–13.0. Maximum continuous operating temperature is 50°C (122°F), and maximum operating pressure is 600 psi.
